Saxonburg Area Sewer Authority Board Member Opportunity – Effective 2027
The Saxonburg Area Sewer Authority is seeking individuals interested in serving as a member of the Authority Board beginning in 2027.
Board members serve four-year terms. At the conclusion of each term, members may continue to serve unless they choose not to seek reappointment or are otherwise replaced in accordance with applicable procedures.
Residents who are interested in being considered for this position are encouraged to submit a Letter of Interest along with any supporting documentation highlighting their background, experience, qualifications, and community involvement relevant to serving on the Board.
All letters of interest and supporting materials will be reviewed by the Board, and a recommendation will be made when the position becomes available in 2027.

Road Closure Notice- Old Plank Road from Mushrush to Weckerly
🚧 Attention Penn Township Residents 🚧
As a reminder, the Penn Township Public Works Department is continuing pipe replacement work on Old Plank Road. The road will remain closed while this work is underway.
Please plan ahead and use an alternate route to avoid delays.

EMS Membership Form
Attention residents: One of the best ways to support our local EMS is to join their membership program. This minimal annual fee not only protects you and provides the best support when you need it most, but also offers many benefits! Please take the time to review the attached flyer for details on how to become a member, receive fast, quality care when you need it the most, and support your local EMS in the process. The membership period runs through October 2026, and any new members will pay a prorated fee based on the time remaining until November 1, 2026.
Need a Burn Permit….
Residents seeking a burn permit should call the Non-Emergency Police Line at 724-586-1169 and select option 1. If there is no answer, please leave a voice message with your name, address, phone number, the date you are requesting a burn permit for, and what you plan to burn. The Officer on Duty will reach back out to you when they return to the office.
