Special Meeting Tonight

📢 Penn Township Board of Supervisors Special Meeting Tonight – 5:00 PM

Please join us this evening as we recognize and celebrate the remarkable career of Penn Township’s longtime Township Manager, Linda Zerfoss, as she prepares to retire on July 2, 2026.

After 48 years of dedicated service to our beloved community, Linda’s commitment, leadership, and unwavering dedication have helped shape Penn Township into the place we proudly call home today.

While we are saddened to see her leave, we are incredibly grateful for the countless contributions she has made throughout nearly five decades of service.

Please join the Board of Supervisors at tonight’s Special Meeting at 5:00 PM as we honor Linda’s extraordinary career and wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.

Thank you, Linda, for 48 years of service, dedication, and commitment to Penn Township. ❤️

Community Day 2026-What’s New This Year

As we continue planning this year’s Penn Township Community Day, we wanted to share an important update with our residents.

This year, our event may look a little different. While we will no longer be providing a free meal, we are excited to continue offering MANY free activities for families and children to enjoy throughout the day — including face painting, pony rides, crafts, games, community activities, and much more!

In place of the free meal, we will be welcoming Penn Township resident-owned food trucks and local food vendors offering delicious food options for purchase. This change was made with the hope of better supporting our local small businesses, many of which are currently facing challenges. We want to do our part to help local businesses continue to grow, succeed, and remain a valued part of our community.

Community Day has always been about bringing people together, and we hope this adjustment showcases another layer of how Penn Township is working to better align and support all members of our community — residents, organizations, emergency services, and local businesses alike — so we can continue to grow and thrive together as one connected community.

We truly hope this change will not deter attendance and that you will still join us for a fun-filled day centered around community connection, support, and family fun. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
