HELP WANTED
The Township of Penn, Butler County, is seeking an experienced and visionary Planning Director who also serves as Zoning Officer, Building Inspector, and Code Enforcement Officer. This leadership role supports the Township Manager and Board of Supervisors in advancing strategic planning initiatives that foster our goals of a sustainable community. In-depth knowledge of urban planning principles and zoning regulations is desired. Responsibilities include managing planning projects, overseeing land development proposals, performing plan review, interpreting municipal ordinances, and, from time to time, assisting in the inspection and enforcement of the Township ordinances.
Salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 dependent on experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in urban planning or related field is recommended. AICP certification or equivalent professional certification is hightly desirable. Position is full-time with benefits.
